Week three was a challenge for one very important reason: I did not go grocery shopping or plan our meals; therefore, we ate out a lot, and it showed in my weight loss. Despite this challenge, I did lose, but only a bit.
Weigh in number 3 ............................................... - 0.5 lbs!?!
I put the ? because I just feel like I could have done so much better. So, I will definitely plan my meals/grocery shop this week to try to increase the weight loss, and only eat out on Friday night when we normally have our date night.
I ate out A TON this week, we had pizza, Mexican food, Japanese food, BBQ twice, a fancy dinner at Oscar's with wine, it was just insane! Typing it all out, really makes me feel like I did myself a disservice.
Milestone? I hit my first - 5 lb loss! So, that was fantastic.
Also, I donned a pair of skinny jeans at my dinner party to Oscars, granted, I wore a long shirt to cover tummy and buttocks (hahahaha).
I only power walked once this week. I suffered a terrible migraine this week, and I worked a ton of hours.
I set another life changing goal this week too. I'm going to wear a hair band on my wrist, and each time I feel the need to participate in office gossip or time wasting activity, I'm going to snap it! I have a good friend who came to the dinner party, and hearing that she thought that I lacked a good work ethic (or was teetering on verge of having a bad one), really made me feel compelled to really try harder to get away from this destructive behavior.
So, my goal for for next week? I'm going to begin a fitness challenge posed on my WW group on Facebook. I'm going to try my hardest to power walk at least 2 x next week, and I am going to continue to track everything I eat.
I have an ominous feeling that I will most likely have a gain this coming week, but I hope not. It's just that I ate out SO MUCH this past weekend, and it normally catches up with you!!!!
